Alert, Gallo Purchases 258 Acres of Napa Vineyards

Dear Client: E. & J. Gallo Winery announced today it has purchased Cypress Ranch and a portion of the Palisades Vineyard in Napa Valley. The combined properties amount to 642 acres and consist of approximately 258 acres of vineyard. The vineyard produces a variety of premium red wine grapes including: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel and Malbec. The property also lies adjacent to the Sun Lake Vineyard farmed by Gallo, bringing the combined planted acreage to 358 acres. The purchase price
