RNDC Files Emergency Motions, Argues Closing KY & MI Deals Soon is “Critical”

Dear Client:   The Republic National Distributing Co. bankruptcy saga continues. The latest? RNDC has filed two emergency motions asking the court to authorize the sale of its Kentucky assets (which includes a settlement with Tito's) and the sale of the remainder of its Michigan operations.  In both motions, which were filed last week, RNDC hopes to close the deals by the end of the month, arguing that "promptly closing" the transactions is "critical to the success of the Chapter 11
