Miller Brewing Co. president Tom Long presented his case yesterday at the Consumer Analyst Group of New York (CAGNY) Conference in Arizona. Tom identified Miller's challges, which include sky-high commodity prices (Miller had short term hedges), a flattening of Miller Lite trends, and tough MGD, High Life, and Mil Best trends. Tom candidly admitted that the Man Law ads didn't "deliver the expected growth that we had counted on."But Tom says they are currently working to turn the ship around
