The US domestic beer industry is experiencing continued sluggishness going into the holidays this year, with October estimated domestic shipments down 2.1% amid tougher comps. That puts year-to-date shipments up 1.1%. We're getting word around the country that November sales are generally slow, and discount/coupon activity seems to be fairly active in the last week or so.
