Trump Threatens a 25% Tariff on Imports from Mexico and Canada on His First Day

Dear Client:  Donald Trump said on Truth Social Monday that he intends to impose a 25% tariff on goods from Mexico and Canada on his very first day as U.S. President (as opposed to the oft-floated flat rate of 10%). “On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States, and its ridiculous Open Borders,” he wrote.
