RTDs Fuel A Better Showing in Scans

Dear Client:  Circana scans for the week ending August 10 brought one of bev alc’s better showings over the summer, with dollar sales nearly flat for the week, down just 0.3%. Beer, which cut its dollar decline to just -0.9% during the week, certainly played a part in that trend, but spirits’ contribution, up 6.3% in dollars and up 14.7% in volume, was hard to ignore.
