Alert, Columbia Distrib to Take On Constellation Wine, Spirits

As part of their total beverage alcohol strategy, Constellation Brands has decided to move their wine and spirits portfolio from Young's Market to Columbia Distributing in Washington and Oregon, effective June 1, WSD has learned. Columbia already handles distribution for Constellation's beer portfolio."Given our focus on total beverage alcohol this is an opportunity for us to transition the brands over into Columbia where we have this total portfolio capability," Constellation's president, wine and spirits division Chris Stenzel tells WSD. "We've
