Diageo NA Still Has a “Long Way to Go” as Restructuring Rolls Out in Q1

Dear Client:   Diageo reported organic global net sales growth of 1.4% for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, ended September. Meanwhile, global volumes were up 1.1% for the quarter. "[Q1] was in line with our expectations, and given the amount of change that we've been executing in the organization in the last while, the results represent, I think, a small step in the right direction," opened ceo Dave Lewis on today's early-morning earnings call.  "North America remains our biggest challenge.
