Copper Cane Pulls Out of Oregon Contracts Amid Controversy

Napa Valley-based Copper Cane Wines has canceled contracts with dozens of vineyards in Oregon's Rogue Valley AVA, whose grapes are used for its Elouan wine brand. The same brand that the Oregon Liquor Control Commission says may not be in compliance with federal and Oregon wine labeling and advertising regulations."We're still pending more analysis, but the initial results and the sensory analysis came back positive for smoke taint.
