New York’s Sarene Craft Beer Distributors Acquires Ohio’s Adena Distributing

Dear Client:  Specialty New York-based distributor Sarene is making moves -- in Ohio.  The Cincinnati Business Courier reports that Sarene is acquiring 5-year-old local craft wholesaler, Adena Distributing, under the banner of Sarene Craft Beer Distributors Ohio. Terms were not disclosed, but the newly combined company ownership will reportedly be split between Adena founder Michael Amann, and Sarene's co-owners.   Adena carried some well-known Midwestern brewers, including Pipeworks Brewing Co. and Illuminated Brew Works. Ohio is a more recent foray for
