Dear Client: The FTC’s first Robinson-Patman Act case in a generation ended on Friday after presstime not with a trial, but with a monitor. After a few months hashing out the details, the FTC and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits have reached a settlement agreement in the case the FTC filed against the wholesaler for alleged pricing discrimination.
