Dear Client:  Your editor got a chance to sit down with the new president of Diageo Beer Co. and Pre-Mix, Laura Merritt, to learn about the new chief, her background, her penchants, her vision, and her perspective on the company’s recent distributor meeting, known as Golden Bars. TAKING THE HELM OF A STEADY SHIP. The fact of the matter is Laura is taking the helm of a fairly steady ship, a circumstance she recognizes.  She tells us that when she
