Dear Client: There were some positive pops for Boston Beer in Q2, but not nearly enough of them, as the company’s Q2 ‘26 earnings report yesterday revealed depletions down 6%, and shipments down 4.5% to 2 million barrels. The company “delivered triple digit depletion growth in Sun Cruiser,” as well as continued growth off Angry Orchard cider, with “strong on-premise results across the portfolio” driven by the World Cup, CEO and chairman Jim Koch said on the company’s earnings call.
