Super Premium Spirits Account for 40% of Revenue Growth in 2020

Dear Client:  For spirits suppliers, value outpaced volume growth in 2020, according to the Distilled Spirits Council [see WSD 01-28-2021]. Thus, it's not surprising that the largest growth rates came from higher priced segments, with super premium accounting for 40% of revenue growth. Overall, super premium spirits volumes were up 9.7% for the year and revenue was up 12.7%, with premium and high end premium up between 7% and 8% in both volumes and revenue.
