Is Beer Overpriced?

I hate to be the one to bring this up, but is beer overpriced? Dang, the monthly Consumer Price Index shows that beer is up 4.2%. That's way high, even for Corona standards. In fact, it's much more than inflation. And according to Christine Farkas at Merrill Lynch, that's the ninth consecutive month that beer inflation has outpaced national inflation.
