OREGON WINES REACH AN ALL TIME HIGH

Oregon vineyards produced 34,400 tons of wine grapes last year, a record-breaking amount, according to recently released figures from the National Agricultural Statistics Service. Production reportedly increased 38% on the year because of high yields and newly producing vines. Oregon is currently the third largest wine-producing state in the U.S., and specializes in producing Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris varietals.
