As an attempt to halt a face-off between wholesalers and winemakers, Wine & Spirits Wholesalers from Indiana are offering to drop lawsuits in federal and state courts if wineries will agree to do the same. Their proposal came after HB 1190, a bill that was meant to allow limited direct shipping, was killed by Indiana Senate President Pro Tem Robert Garton because of pending litigation on both sides. The wholesalers believe that dropping lawsuits and allowing HB 1190 to pass
