Takeover Panel Grants Week Extension

Dear Client:SABMiller and ABI sent notice this morning that SABMiller indeed asked the UK Panel on Takeovers and Mergers for an extension on Anheuser Busch InBev's deadline to announce "a firm intention to make an offer for SABMiller." The Panel has granted a week extension: New deadline is November 4. They're moving closer: ABI confirmed the financing is in place for the deal, but the parties want to "continue their discussions with respect to other aspects of the transaction" during
