Idaho House Passes Anti-Branch Bill

March 10, 2014Dear Client: The Idaho House of Representatives passed a bill last week which would prohibit large brewers from having any sort of financial stake in a distributor or retailer. The bill passed in the House by a vote of 63 to 6, and now will go to the Senate, according to the Idaho Reporter. Brewers under 30k barrels a year may have a stake in a distributor and can self-distribute as well. The bill allows for a temporary
