Just as with the advent of fuel injection in cars, America is getting rid of carbs. The latest salvo: Regional craft brewer F.X. Matt of Utica, NY, will be rolling out a new low carb beer called Accel. Accel will come in a light tan package with "LOW CARBOHYDRATE" spelled out in smart looking small caps, a package design that is becoming the de facto signal to consumers that the beer is low carb.
