MillerCoors Expanding Disastrous Ordering System to More Breweries

Dear Client:Last month, we documented how the new MillerCoors ordering system cut orders to distributors by about 383,000 barrels out of the Golden Brewery. Apparently, it's not gotten much better for some, even as we embark upon the key summer/holiday selling season.We've spoken to several large and smaller MillerCoors wholesalers, and to say they are frustrated is an understatement. On the other hand, a couple of sizable East Coast distributors believe it's mainly a West Coast problem -- especially where
