Despite product shortages and stiffer competition from HUSA/FEMSA in the West, Barton Beers parent Constellation Brands reported strong beer sales for their fiscal second quarter (three months ending August 31). Net sales increased 9% for their beers (Modelo, St. Pauli Girl, and Tsingtao, although the bulk is Modelo) and will likely keep that pace to the end of the year.
