A-B Transitions Spirits Brand Rights to Southern Glazer’s in CA, HI and “Some” Control States

Dear Client: Anheuser-Busch has informed RNDC “and other relevant wholesaler partners” that it will transition its spirits-based brand distribution rights in California and “in certain control states”* to Southern Glazer's.  Cutwater rights in Hawaii will also transition to Southern Glazer's (though there will be no change to Nutrl distribution in that state, where they are with Odom).  Recall, per law, Anheuser-Busch’s AB ONE wholesaler cannot distribute its own spirits brands in California, and had thus assigned brands like Cutwater and
