Brews to Barns Act Introduced in the House

Dear Client: The bipartisan Brews to Barns Act has officially been introduced in the House as a piece of legislation that would strengthen the longstanding partnerships between breweries and farmers, while reducing costs for small businesses via a new federal excise tax credit.  Sponsored by Reps. Mike Kelly (R-PA), Brad Schneider (D-IL), Jeff Hurd (R-CO), John Larson (D-CT), Josh Riley (D-NY), Marilyn Strickland (D-WA), and Glenn “GT” Thompson (R-PA), “the legislation would create a tax credit for breweries who donate
