Trade Groups Tout Interconnectedness of Spirits Industry in Tariffs Debate

Dear Client: Bev alc trade groups have been hard at work to untangle the industry from the current tariffs disputes. Overall, some headway has been made with various countries, but the US maintains a 10% blanket tariff on all imports.  One point we have consistently heard as these trade groups work together is the interconnectedness of the bev alc industry across the globe.  Indeed, Scotch Whisky Association ceo Mark Kent made the trip to D.C. last week to build on
