Provi and RNDC Reach Settlement in Antitrust Lawsuit

Dear Client: Today Provi and Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) reached an "agreement in principle," to resolve their ongoing antitrust court battle.  The filing comes just weeks after reaching the same conclusion with RNDC's codefendant, Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits [see WSD 04-02-2025].  Recall, Provi filed suit against the two distributors in March 2022, alleging they violated the Sherman Antitrust Act by conspiring together and separately “to boycott, disparage and tortiously interfere with Provi’s business,” per complaint [see WSD 03-30-2022].
