O’Neill Vintners & Distillers Makes Foray into WA, Acquiring Substance Wines

Dear Client: O'Neill Vintners & Distillers announced this morning the acquisition of Washington wine brand Substance Wines from veteran winemaker Charles Smith, marking the company's first Washington wine brand. No financial details were disclosed.  Substance Wines was introduced in 2015. It's made using small batch winemaking techniques, and the brand is known for its "transparent approach to how it communicates with consumers," per release.
