Who is the Uniform Law Commission, and What’s Up with Their DTC Proposal?

Dear Client:    You may have seen a few articles in recent days about the Uniform Law Commission and their proposed alcohol direct shipping compliance act, which has thrown some into a tizzy. We've never even heard of this 130-year-old organization, and surely we're not the only ones. As such, today we'll look at who they are, their DTC shipping act proposal, and how the industry has responded thus far.  WHO IS THE ULC? The Uniform Law Commission— also known
