Gallo Adds Cream Liqueur Brand RumChata to Spirits Portfolio

Dear Client:Today E&J Gallo announced its spirits division has signed an agreement to acquire Agave Loco LLC, the owner of cream liqueur brand RumChata. No financial details were disclosed. The acquisition includes the RumChata brand, and Midwest Custom Bottling LLC (MCB), which produces RumChata. MCB-owned The Tippy Cow and Holly Nog brands are also included in the deal. RumChata launched in 2009, and the portfolio now includes RumChata original, RumChata Limon, RumChata Peppermint Bark and RumChata Cold Brew.
