30% of Bev Alc Products Noncompliant

Dear Client: In recent years, the TTB has taken to sampling a random set of products to test for compliance. In 2014, the agency sampled 450 products (190 spirits, 155 malt beverages and 105 wines) and found as many as 139 (30%) of the products were noncompliant. This mark's a slight increase in noncompliant products from the 2013 results where the TTB sampled 668 and found 190 (28%) non-compliant.
