Wisconsin Wholesaler Defends State Franchise Law

You may recall, late last year Pernod filed a lawsuit asking the District Court of the Western District of Wisconsin to weigh in on whether or not its relationship with its wholesaler in the state, Saratoga Liquor Co., is subject to the state's franchise law [see WSD 10-12-2018]. We covered Pernod's position, now Saratoga has provided its counter argument. In its motion to dismiss filed in November, Saratoga says this is the second time Pernod has looked to move its
