Wine Surges in April, Imports Catching up

Dear Client: The wine industry was on a tear in the period to April 30, as reported by Nielsen scan data in food, drug, convenience and liquor stores. Numbers for the 52-weeks were solid but a spike was evident in the 4-weeks. Even better? Pricing is also getting much stronger.
