WA Retailers Attempt to Push Through Changes to I-1183

Dear Client:On January 17 a bill (HB 1161) was proposed to the Washington state legislature to address some of the more controversial parts of Initiative 1183 that privatized the state's alcohol system. Yesterday the House Government and Oversight Committee held a public hearing allowing those on both sides of the issue to debate what's being called "The Costco Liquor Loophole Bill."
