US Will Not Renew USMCA Trade Deal in its “Current Form”

Dear Client:  The global trade context continues to be on shaky ground. The US, Mexico, Canada trade agreement (USMCA) is up for review, and currently the US is refusing to renew the agreement in its current form.  You may recall, the USMCA was signed at the end of 2019 during President Trump's first term, replacing the North American Free Trade Agreement.  Reps from each country met virtually yesterday to discuss the USMCA.
