US Spirits Supplier Revenue Down in ’24, While Volumes Eke Out 1% Growth

Dear Client:   In 2024, US spirits industry supplier revenues were down 1.1% to $37.2 billion, while volumes were up 1.1% to 312.2 million 9L cases, according to the Distilled Spirits Council's annual economic briefing this morning.  Note, this report tracks shipment data (sales from suppliers to wholesalers) using DISCUS brand data and other sources.  Despite the decline in revenues, spirits maintained its market share lead of total bev alc at 42.2% revenue share, followed closely by beer at 42%
