US Spirits Revenues Up Double Digits in 2021, Reaching $35.8 Billion

Dear Client:   Even up against tough comps, the US spirits industry grew revenues by 12% to $35.8 billion and volume increased 9.3% to 291.1 million nine-liter cases in 2021, according to the Distilled Spirits Council's annual economic briefing this morning.  Spirits continues to snag market share as well, picking up 1.7 revenue share points of the total US alcohol industry to 41.3% share, and grabbing just about 0.4 volume share points to 38%.  What's driving spirits growth?
