US Spirits Exports Reach $2.2 Billion in 2023

Dear Client: In 2023 US spirits exports increased 8% in value compared to 2022, reaching $2.2 billion, according to an American Spirits Export Report released today by the Distilled Spirits Council. American whiskey accounts for the majority of US exports, at 63% of total value and 34% of volume. In 2023 American whiskey exports increased 9% to $1.4 billion. You'll recall, US spirits exports were hampered between 2018 and 2021 due to trade disputes with the European Union and the UK resulting
