Total Wine Drops Pricing in CT Amid “Price Fixing” Lawsuit

Yesterday we reported that Total Wine & More had filed a lawsuit against the state of Connecticut over its minimum pricing laws for wine and spirits [see WSD 08-24-2016]. After the story ran, a Truth Squadder alerted your editors to a new ad on the Total Wine website showing the retailer has simultaneously discounted some of the larger brands flouting the mandated pricing for each. The discounts are anywhere from $4 (for Jack Daniel's) to $13 (for Don Julio) below
