The Wine Group Growing Beyond Traditional Wine with Phony Negroni Acquisition

Dear Client:  The Wine Group recently acquired New York-based St. Agrestis, the maker of the non-alc ready-to-drink brand Phony Negroni for an undisclosed sum [see WSD 04-29-2026].  Your editor got on the horn with TWG cmo Helen Kurtz to learn more about the acquisition and how it fits into the company's wider portfolio and innovation strategy.  THE DEAL. The transaction includes the full St. Agrestis beverage portfolio, inventory and some equipment. In total, they produce about 60,000 cases annually.  TWG
