Tequila Closing the Gap Against Vodka in the On-Premise

Dear Client:In the on-premise channel, the top three spirits categories by volume are whiskey, tequila, and vodka. Whiskey is the best-selling spirits category on-premise, while tequila has seen "exponential growth," according to CGA's latest On Premise Management (OPM) research.  For the 52 weeks through April 22, whiskey picked up 0.1 percentage points in volume share. Tequila snagged 0.8 percentage points, while vodka share fell 0.3 percentage points. As such, tequila is "closing the gap against vodka," per CGA. All types of tequila
