STZ Focused on Improving W&S Biz, as Sales Fall Double Digits in Q2

Dear Client:   Constellation Brands reported a total net sales increase of 3% for the second quarter ended August, once again buoyed by the beer business.  The wine and spirits business, on the other hand, saw a 12% decrease in net sales in Q2, driven by a nearly 10% decrease in shipment volumes. "We continue to face incremental category headwinds in our wine and spirits business, particularly in the lower-priced segments," said chief Bill Newlands on today's earnings call.  Constellation
