DISCUS's annual spirits briefing this morning revealed the category maintained "nice consistent growth" in 2015 as many of the same trends seen in 2014 continued through the year. Supplier revenues were up 4.1% for the year, on par with 2014, and raked in $24.1 billion. Volumes were up 2.3%, adding an extra 4.9 million cases to the market and totaling 215 million cases.2015 represents the sixth consecutive year spirits have increased dollar market share relative to beer.
