Spirits RTDs Tax Cut Scorecard

Dear Client:    One of our 2022 predictions is that there will be a lot of movement on the ready-to-drink legislation front, namely around lowering taxes and increasing availability for spirits-based RTDs. We've certainly seen some movement on that front this year and last year, and that's gotten some pushback from the beer industry.  At the recent Craft Brewers Conference, Brewers Association general counsel Marc Sorini covered the spirits industry's concerted legislative push to snag "equivalency" wins across the country
