The wine category has long been a slave to tradition. Innovation often comes in the predictable form of highlighting a rare grape or country of origin, or creating an edgy label. As such, the category has not capitalized on the popular craft cocktail trend the way spirits, and to a lesser degree, beer has. But Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, which has cultivated a reputation for thinking outside of the box, has decided to make its move into the mixology world.
