Scotch Blends, Canadian Whisky Struggle to Keep up with Whiskey Boom

It will probably not come as a surprise to you that the whiskey category was the belle of the ball at DISCUS' annual Industry Review earlier this week. The category's volumes further accelerated by 7.3% to hit 56.6 million cases in 2014. Blended whiskey volumes skyrocketed from 14.3% growth in 2013 to 42% in 2014.
