Remy Cointreau to Acquire Westland Distillery

Remy Cointreau has announced it will buy high-end single malt whiskey maker Westland Distillery.Seattle-based Westland Distillery was founded in 2010 by Emerson Lamb--who left the company in 2015--and Matt Hofmann. They distill out of a $4 million, 13,000-square-foot facility, and have created one of the most prominent American single malt whiskey brands. The Westland portfolio includes a range of products priced between $70 and $125, with nationwide distribution handled by Anchor Distilling."It has been our stated goal to put Washington
