Dear Client: Pernod Ricard's global net sales were down 7.6% on an organic basis and down 14.3% on a reported basis for the first quarter of fiscal 2026, ended September. The slow start to the year was driven by a few key reasons, noted evp - finance & tech Helene de Tissot on today's early-morning earnings call, including: net sales declines in the US and Chinese markets; excise policy changes within India; and "challenged" global travel retail sales in Q1.
