Peju Takes Acacia Vineyard off Diageo’s Plate

You'll likely recall Diageo has sloughed off the vast majority of its wine assets in the past six months, selling most of them to Treasury Wine Estates [see WSD 10-13-2015]. Now Peju Province Winery has taken the 100-acre Acacia Vineyard and Winery off Diageo's hands. "It has always been a long-term goal of the company's to own more than one winery," says proprietor Ariana Peju, adding, "we are thrilled with our recent purchase and look forward to extending and enhancing
