Moet Hennessy is adding high-end tequila brand Volcan de mi Tierra to its portfolio, through a joint venture with Mexico's Gallardo family. The tequila is produced at the Volcan distillery in Jalisco (NOM 1523), which is located at the base of the Tequila Volcano. As part of the joint venture, the distillery--which also makes De Corazon and Tequila Indianos --will be "fully renovated and modernized," per a release.
