MO Decides the Fate of Franchise Bill Today

Dear Client: We're down to the last few hours of the 2013 Missouri legislature session and the fate of the franchise legislation bill (SB 114) is still unknown. Yesterday members of the Senate and House convened hoping to strike a compromise before the end of the session today. A conference report from the meeting revealed that the group of lawmakers did indeed reach a compromise by adding an August 2016 sunset date to the franchise language, reports The Missouri Times.
